About Us - Australian Marriage Equality


Australian Marriage Equality (AME) is a national organisation working for equal
marriage rights for all Australians regardless of their gender or sexuality.

We have members and supporters from across Australia and overseas.

AME believes that a person's gender or sexuality should not affect their legal
rights and responsibilities in respect of marriage under Australian law.

As a membership based organisation, AME relies entirely on the generosity of its
members and other supporters in the community.
