The most important contribution you can make to the campaign for
equal marriage rights is to contact your federal member of
parliament.

It is vital that your local federal
member of parliament knows how important equality is to you.
All contact, even a pro forma email or
letter, is useful. Even more effective is a personally written
email, letter or phone call.
But nothing beats a personal visit.
MPs need to meet those of us effected
by Australia's discriminatory marriage laws and our families and
friends. The more of us they meet, the more difficult it becomes for
them to justify the current unequal marriage laws.
