The next step in the marriage equality campaign are two inquiries currently being conducted by federal parliament. Convincing MPs and Senators to support marriage equality will depend, in part, on successful outcomes from these inquiries. Groups like the Australian Christian Lobby are already flooding the inquiries with submissions. Please make your voice heard.

1. The Senate inquiry

This inquiry is being conducted by the Senate Legal and Constitutional Committee. Submissions closed on 2nd April. For more information about the inquiry, visit the Senate website here.

2. House of Representatives inquiry

This inquiry is being conducted by the Social Policy and Legislative Affairs Committee. Submissions close on 20th April.
