Paul and David are Australian twins with shared lives, interests and hopes. Paul was the best man at David’s wedding. But unlike David, Paul cannot marry the person he loves.

Letter Hello I urge you to amend the Marriage Act so that same-sex couples can marry. It is important that same-sex and opposite-sex couples are equal under the law. Marriage should be about love and commitment, not exclusion or prejudice. I urge you to look to those countries where same-sex marriages are allowed. In these countries, same-sex couples and their families have benefitted from being treated equally and the fears of those who oppose reform have proven unfounded. Yours Sincerely
